New Year's Resolutions
Once -- just once -- I'd like to get through an entire holiday season, Thanksgiving through the New Year, without a trip to an emergency room, a visit to a hospital or any other form of medical crisis. Failing that, could the crisis at least be mine for a change?

Here's hoping you get no new medical crisis in 2007.
After a series of vacations were we made trips to the emergency room I announced "No emergency room until at least Wednesday!!!"
Wednesday morning my wife twisted her ankle.
On the "upside" our cabin had no TV reception-- the ER did. One of my kids said-- "I hope mommy isn't done before Cyberchase is over"
Greg, remember the old truism that when the gods want to punish you, they answer your prayers. You should know better than to EVER ask for your own crisis. Apparently the Fates have deemed it appropriate instead, at least for now, to have Eric A send me the link to your blog, so I can tell you that I'm still waiting to hear from you from Christmas of last year . . . . can you find me again?
