Nobody f#@%s with The King
Bubba Ho-tep is now $14.99 on DVD at my local Beast Buy.
I bought it today.
Haven't watched it yet.
Expect an enthusiastic Post here once I've made time to watch it; I've heard nothing but fun praise for the thing.

Waiting for your review, Greg. Miss your reviews...
Good point, Sharon.
Bubba Ho-Tep is an entertaining film. Some good lines thrown out by both Ossie and Bruce.
Greeeeeeeggggggg.. if you don't post a review we'll eat your braaaaaiinnnnnnnnsss
Hope you enjoy Bubba. I did, but I must admit I was in a particularly whistful mood. You need to set your mind back to the production aesthetics of the early eighties (think Evil Dead 1 with a bit of Bad Taste). It's not going to change the world, but it's amusing enough for its running time. It might be better viewed back to back with "This is Elvis"
Sorry to post something a bit off topic, but I'd actually stopped by Greg's blog to see if you had anything to say about the Oscar's. I missed the grueling all night (as experienced from +0 GMT) slog. The BBC declined to show it this year, leaving Rupert Murdoch's satellite service Sky as the only way of seeing it. A lot of people were caught short by this. Anyway, any thoughts about this year's festival of unsubtle guff supporting questionable assisted suicide?
The time has come, Miller. The time has come to post again!
Are you up to the challenge? Can you face the keyboard?
Vent, damn you! Vent!
